Warehouse Specialist

As part of our ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Specialist to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Fulfilling material service requests (MSRs)
- Performing verification of accuracy of items and quantities on MSRs pulled by other Logistics personnel
- Unloading trucks with forklifts and verifying materials received are undamaged and in compliance with packing list and freight bills
- Aiding Logistics Warehouse Stock Clerk by verifying delivered items and filling out all applicable receiving paperwork
- Stocking new or returned inventory and rotating older inventory while ensuring what is in stock matches system quantities and locations are correct
- Performing physical cycle counts as assigned to verify system inventory accuracy
- Dropping off / picking up of NDBC’s fleet of leased vehicles for preventative maintenance services
- Providing local receiving and delivery services for all new items delivered to NDBC
- Staging, loading, and delivering excessed items to NASA Redistribution or SSC Landfill
- Ensuring the warehouse is always safe, clean, and organized
- Performing daily mail pickup/deliveries
- Wearing all required PPE (foot protection, hand protection, head protection, etc.)
- Performing other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- 1+ year of relevant experience preferred
- Have/Obtain Forklift Operator Certification
- Maintain a Valid Driver’s License
- Lift, carry, and move heavy boxes, equipment, or materials weight up to 50 lbs. continuously throughout the shift
- High School Diploma

Core qualifications include: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Strong organizational skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills - Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) - Experience with inventory tracking and management - Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
