As part of our ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Specialist to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfilling material service requests (MSRs)
  • Performing verification of accuracy of items and quantities on MSRs pulled by other Logistics personnel
  • Unloading trucks with forklifts and verifying materials received are undamaged and in compliance with packing list and freight bills
  • Aiding Logistics Warehouse Stock Clerk by verifying delivered items and filling out all applicable receiving paperwork
  • Stocking new or returned inventory and rotating older inventory while ensuring what is in stock matches system quantities and locations are correct
  • Performing physical cycle counts as assigned to verify system inventory accuracy
  • Dropping off / picking up of NDBC’s fleet of leased vehicles for preventative maintenance services
  • Providing local receiving and delivery services for all new items delivered to NDBC
  • Staging, loading, and delivering excessed items to NASA Redistribution or SSC Landfill
  • Ensuring the warehouse is always safe, clean, and organized
  • Performing daily mail pickup/deliveries
  • Wearing all required PPE (foot protection, hand protection, head protection, etc.)
  • Performing other tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • 1+ year of relevant experience preferred
  • Have/Obtain Forklift Operator Certification
  • Maintain a Valid Driver’s License
  • Lift, carry, and move heavy boxes, equipment, or materials weight up to 50 lbs. continuously throughout the shift
  • High School Diploma

Qualifications

Core qualifications include: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Strong organizational skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills - Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) - Experience with inventory tracking and management - Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations

Skills

Essential skills include: - Forklift operation certification - Forklift driving experience - Inventory management - Material handling - Physical labor and manual dexterity - Attention to detail
