Warehouse Specialist

About the role

The Warehouse Specialist supports Supervisors by handling emails, researching inventory discrepancies, completing daily reports, managing missing or damaged items, and ensuring inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Walk doors to validate inventory against drivers' manifests, ensure transfer picking accuracy, and support inbound operations while maintaining quality standards.
• Answer and troubleshoot calls on the 1799 phone line.
• Assist stores, customer service, and DRT teams with transfer-related questions, including locking/unlocking orders and re-committing items on sales orders.
• Research inventory discrepancies for dock and transfers, and coordinate resolutions with Inventory Control.
• Send picks to assigned pickers to replace missing or damaged items.
• Unlock driver dock doors after validation and sign-off on accuracy.
• Manage damages, extras, reschedules, or overloads by pushing them to end caps.
• Label, rewrap items, and push them to end caps.
• Send emails regarding missing, damaged, or route-exception items.
• Communicate with stores about items not in location (NIL).
• Conduct dock checking, picking, putting up end caps, or covering CPU as needed.
• Operate radio frequency equipment.
• Comply with OSHA standards and promote safety.
• Maintain a clean, debris-free warehouse floor.
• Meet company productivity standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2-4 years of general warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs.

Pay

Hiring range: $24.45 - $30.50 per hour. Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt team members.
