About the role

MasTec Renewables, comprising Wanzek Construction, IEA Constructors, and White Construction, integrates over 20 years of experience in renewable energy construction. This position is part of the MasTec Clean Energy & Infrastructure business segment, generating over $4 billion annually in construction services across various sectors including industrial, renewables, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate shipping, receiving, and inventory management under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager
  • Prepare and load shipping containers for project locations as per project team requests
  • Receive and inspect project shipping containers, test and inspect all tools, materials, and equipment
  • Coordinate with construction teams for repairs, replacements, or decommissioning of equipment based on current and future needs
  • Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all items in the warehouse
  • Assist in resolving issues with the Warehouse Manager, including reading, preparing, collecting, and maintaining reports
  • Ensure security and safety of warehouse operations and contents through established and monitored security procedures and protocols
  • Manage inventory and reconcile data with the storage system
  • Inspect rigging and assist in fleet management for coordination of vehicles and vehicle requirements
  • Ship and receive tooling via UPS/FedEx and LTL carriers, and inspect rigging as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • One or two-year certificate from college or technical school, and/or 2 years of related experience
  • Valid Driver license required (CDL preferred)
  • Experience using basic power and hydraulic tools, understanding of rigging, and small engines
  • Hydraulic Tooling certifications preferred
  • Rigging Inspection certification preferred
  • Common sense understanding of rigging practices and small engines
  • Intermediate computer operation skills and familiarity with internet-based program navigation
  • Construction knowledge a plus

  • Take reasonable care of health and safety of self and others
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions precisely
  • Able to work in demanding physical and inclement weather conditions
  • Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Knowledge of Rigging practices and small engines
