Warehouse Receiver/Checker - Night Shift
About the role
Join a team dedicated to feeding communities as a Receiver/Checker. Ensure accurate receipt of merchandise, verifying correct quantities, condition, and documentation. Maintain inventory accuracy through data entry, cycle counting, and reporting discrepancies. Support efficient warehouse operations by labeling, setting up storage, and operating warehouse management systems, including RF guns and voice technology. Monitor for pests and damages, ensure safety compliance, and perform routine tasks per SOP guidelines. Collaborate with team members to facilitate smooth receiving and shipping processes.
Responsibilities
- Verify incoming shipments against records, noting damages and discrepancies
- Record shipment details in systems, maintaining inventory accuracy
- Assist with inventory counts, resolve shortages or overages, and support warehouse flow
- Label pallets, verify inbound freight, and document damages or pest activity
- Operate warehouse technology and perform routine audits
Qualifications
- Minimum six months warehouse experience
- Electric pallet jack experience preferred
- Strong planning, teamwork, and communication skills
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively with others
- Physical ability to operate warehouse equipment and perform routine tasks

Work environment
