Warehouse Receiver/Checker - Night Shift

Position Overview

Keep our communities fed. Our focus is simple but meaningful, from distribution centers to offices—every employee helps feed local families and communities. As a Receiver/Checker, you'll ensure correct merchandise receipt, free of damage or infestation, and in proper quantities.

Responsibilities

• Verify accuracy by examining contents against records, recording counts, pallet types, and discrepancies.
• Input shipment data into the system, including weight, damages, and charges for reporting and record-keeping.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and address customer issues like shortages or damages.
• Monitor warehouse system for open invoices, support smooth flow from receiving to shipping, and identify high-value items.
• Label and verify freight, record discrepancies, and ensure proper storage setup for efficiency.
• Operate warehouse technology such as RF guns, and audit product slots for accuracy.
• Ensure safety by inspecting for pests and hazards, and perform additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• At least six months of warehouse experience
• Experience with electric pallet jacks preferred
• Strong planning, teamwork, and communication skills
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures
