About the role
Ensure correct merchandise receipt, free of damage and infestation, supporting community feeding efforts.
Responsibilities
- Verify incoming shipments against records, recording counts and pallet types.
- Input shipment data into computer systems, tracking weight, damages, and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counting and resolve customer service issues like shortages or damages.
- Monitor warehouse management systems, support smooth flow from receiving to shipping, and identify high-value items.
- Label pallets, verify inbound freight accuracy, and record discrepancies.
- Optimize storage setup, operate warehouse management technology, and audit product rotation.
- Check for pest activity in shipments and perform routine inventory tasks per SOP.
Qualifications & Skills
- At least six months of warehouse experience.
- Preferred electric pallet jack skills.
- Strong planning, teamwork, communication, and safety adherence.
Work Environment
Cold storage environment (-20° to 0°).
