Warehouse/ Operator A

Immediate opening for a Warehouse Operator in the Fabrication Department on 3rd shift at our Longview, NC manufacturing plant.

About the role

Operate machinery that cuts and packages foam bedding products. Communicate with the department manager and lead person to determine material needs. Ensure production goals are met while maintaining operational excellence. Efficiently operate several pieces of equipment to optimize material utilization.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders
• Use order listings to determine sizes and amounts to cut
• Run computer-controlled cutting equipment
• Maintain a steady work pace in a high-volume department
• Verify proper machine operations and check output accuracy
• Work independently and in a team environment
• Make machine adjustments as necessary while monitoring equipment
• Assist with inventory as required
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
• 1+ months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and interpret a tape measure
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to use computerized equipment
• Forklift experience preferred

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (or as needed based on business requirements).

Pay

$22.02 per hour.
