Warehouse Operator - 3rd Shift (10:00 pm to 6:00 am)

Responsibilities

• Completes assignments in a manner that meets company expectations for safety, quality and efficiency.
• Mets engineered labor standards for production.
• Utilizes Red Prairie WMS and LMS systems in accurate and timely manner utilizing bar codes, radio frequency (RF) and or desktop computer equipment.
• Operates material handling equipment (sit down, stand up reach forklifts; slip attachments) in a manner that abides by all safety rules and assures that it is used correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines of operation.
• Cleans and inspects vehicles; reports any issues; maintains cleanliness and charges vehicles as needed.
• Unloads and loads orders, repalletizes product as necessary; inspects and documents product according to QIP and GMP.
• Stores and retrieves materials, packaging, and food products from designated locations; picks and palletizes individual cases weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Completes daily cycle counts and inventory control system activities.
• Works in both ambient and refrigerated environments; works evenings and weekends as needed.
• Performs basic mathematical calculations to accurately receive and ship product; reads instructions and inputs data into operating systems.
• Completes reports and documentation for tracking of hour's utilization, internal damage, trailer inspections, and pallet tallies for billing.
• Ensures work area is clean and organized; completes general cleaning tasks.
• Completes other duties as required and assigned by manager/supervisor.
• Complies with environmental, safety, and food safety laws and regulations.
• Complies with Armada’s ISO 14001 programs and SQF requirements.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months recent forklift experience.
• Preferred: Forklift certification (slip sheet experience preferred).
• Experience in a bar code environment.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
