Warehouse Operator - 3rd Shift (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM)

12-month contract position on W2 for US Citizens or Green Card holders only. 40 hours per week on 3rd shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM).

About the role

This position is responsible for the retrieval and control of raw material for daily manufacturing line functions, maintaining clean kitting areas, and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Pull raw material from the warehouse for manufacturing.
• Empty large trash and cardboard bins.
• Sweep floors to maintain proper housekeeping standards.
• Pull pallets to lines from the staging area.
• Attend training sessions as directed.
• Help train production operators as directed.

Requirements

• Ability to operate a manual pallet jack to move inventory throughout kitting processes.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• One or more years of warehouse and manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and present information effectively in one-on-one situations.
• Basic math skills, including the ability to convert English units of measure to metric.
• Ability to apply common sense when carrying out written or oral instructions.
• Self-starter with initiative to perform job responsibilities without direct supervision.
• Strong accuracy, completeness, and attention to detail.

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to stand and reach with hands and arms.
• Lifts and/or moves up to 30 pounds.
• Required to move throughout the building to meet with other personnel.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision.
• Must operate material handling equipment.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing warehouse environment.
• Occasional exposure to moderate to loud noise.
• Work near moving equipment.

Pay

$16–20 per hour.
