Key Responsibilities
- Must work with heavy machinery, such as but not limited to cherry pickers, forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other industrial equipment
- Uses heavy equipment to move product and put away in designated locations
- Has overall responsibility for unloading and loadings materials from trailers to warehouse
- Verifies the inventory quantity and assists in inventory level maintenance
- Maintains complete paperwork as needed
- Operates warehouse equipment in a safe manner and reports any malfunctions or concerns regarding equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year minimum of previous warehouse experience desired
- Must have a valid Forklift Certification/Cherry Picker Certification
- Experience working with furniture preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with heavy furniture
- Reliable attendance
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility to working past quitting time to get the job done
Physical Requirements
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly and occasionally lift and carry up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
- Pushing and Pulling: Ability to push and pull wheeled carts or pallet jacks loaded with merchandise
- Bending, Stooping, and Reaching: Ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead frequently
- Physical Stamina: Demonstrate physical stamina and endurance to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle and manipulate small parts or delicate items with precision
- Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends when necessary to address urgent operational needs

About the Role
We are hiring full-time individuals to load and unload packages/boxes in our fast-paced environment. Operators are responsible for warehouse duties including: working with heavy machinery, such as but not limited to cherry pickers, forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other industrial equipment in a safe manner and reporting any malfunctions or concerns regarding equipment, using heavy equipment to move product and put away in designated locations, verifying the inventory quantity, assisting in inventory level maintenance and paperwork as needed. Shifts may vary depending on warehouse package volume and business needs.
