Job Summary
The Warehouse Lead assists the supervisor in leading the warehouse area by coordinating the team’s day-to-day activities to ensure our production department gets all the stock needed and that our customers get their orders on time, while creating and maintaining a positive and safe work environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Monday-Friday, 7am-5:30pm, 10-hour shift, overtime varies based on business needs
Duties/Responsibilities
- Complete tasks as assigned and resolve day-to-day problems
- Ensure the team meets productivity and efficiency targets
- Conduct accuracy/quality audits by verifying product quantity/quality
- Train and cross-train new employees in various job functions
- Aid with daily meetings
- Data entry
- Enforce safety regulations
- Other duties as assigned

Preferred Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Leadership experience in a warehouse setting
- Previous forklift certification
- Experience/familiar with a warehouse management system i.e., SAP
- Working with scanners
Physical Requirements
- Very Heavy work: Lifting and carrying for a short distance up to 50 pounds constantly on your own & up to 100 pounds via team lift frequently.
- Standing: To remain on one’s feet in an upright position without moving about.
- Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
- Stooping: Bending the body forward and down while bending the spine at the waist 45 degrees or more either over something below waist level or down towards an object on or near the ground.
- Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
- Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and make fine discriminations in sound.
- Vision: The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work.
- Environment: The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
