About the role

The Warehouse Coordinator oversees all warehouse and dock operations, ensuring order and safety. Key responsibilities include supervising forklift operations, managing weights, overseeing baling, directing materials, and handling production duties.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all warehouse and dock operations, maintaining order and safety.
  • Supervise operation of forklift as necessary, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Supervise operation of scales and ensure accurate weight recording.
  • Supervise and/or handle all baling operations.
  • Direct incoming material to proper staging areas, preventing waste.
  • Supervise and handle loading and unloading of ARC trucks and bale trucks.
  • Oversee work therapy beneficiaries in the warehouse and dock area.
  • Occasionally fill in for Production/General Supervisor and other roles as needed.
  • Operate forklift as needed.
  • Manage product flow in the warehouse and ensure correct placement.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of employees, recommending training as necessary.
  • Prepare written warnings as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Two (2) years of transportation, warehouse, and/or loading dock experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable DMV record.
  • Completion of Forklift Certification required.

  • Sitting: Under 1/3 of the time.
  • Lifting: Under 1/3 of the time, up to 75 pounds.
  • Pushing/Pulling: Using machinery.
  • Standing: Yes, over 2/3 of the time.
  • Walking: Over 2/3 of the time.
  • Reaching: Over 2/3 of the time.
  • Climbing: Under 1/3 of the time.
  • Stooping: Under 1/3 of the time.
