Warehouse Coordinator

General Responsibilities

  • Primary point of contact for system related discrepancy resolution in shipping, receiving and material handling functions, prior to escalating to IT / S4 SME
  • Maintains oversight of all warehouse management queues and logs that could be generating errors on a daily basis
  • Reconciles "Grief" Transactions, identifies and fixes discrepancies in the SAP system where material movement (e.g., receipt, transfer, picking) has stalled
  • Coordinating error resolution between appropriate stakeholders when necessary and ensuring prompt response/resolution
  • Identifies common root causes of repeat transactional issues and brings to the leadership for system resolution, process improvement or behavioral infractions
  • Audit compliance to warehouse processes

Required Experience & Education

  • High School Diploma OR GED required. Associate Degree preferred.
  • 6 months distribution or manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing initiatives preferred.
  • SAP S4 Warehouse management systems knowledge

  • Ability to problem-solve.
  • Ability to concentrate on tasks and work calmly and effectively in a high-pressure, deadline oriented environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships, both internally and externally, while maintaining a client service orientation.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended period of times
  • Ability to work in a non-climate control environments
  • Ability to Operate an order picker, reach truck, and dock stocker

Total Compensation

  • Total Compensation = Pay range + Benefits
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits
