WANTED – TEST LAB MECHANIC/TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities

• Test rig assembly, set up, calibration, operation and data collection
• Instrumentation and measurement of seal components
• Data manipulation and report generation
• Afford assistance in generating test lab procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-Year degree or additional technical school training preferred
• 3 Years’ experience as a mechanic or technician

Skills

• Good mechanical skills
• Basic PC computer skills including MS Excel and MS Word
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
• General plumbing knowledge
• General electrical wiring knowledge
• Knowledge of motors, drives, gear boxes, pumps and couplings
• Machining experience a plus
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to work with minimal supervision once the task has been explained
