About the role

Foundation Health Partners 1st Care, a family medicine walk-in medical clinic, is seeking an advanced practice provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join their highly experienced and growing team.

Opportunity

FHP 1st Care is an ED-light clinic that manages a variety of health concerns, including orthopedic injuries, minor traumas, acute and chronic illness, and pediatric complaints. Our team provides advanced diagnostics through our on-site lab and radiology, with efficient access to an advanced imaging center. As the go-to community provider for walk-in care, you can expect that every day will present new and exciting challenges.

Compensation

  • $135,000 base salary with an anticipated $110,000 to $123,200 in production pay, for an estimated total compensation between $245,164 and $258,364 annually.
  • $40,000 sign-on bonus.

Schedule

  • Three 12-hour shifts per week, 156 shifts per year.
  • No on-call duties.
  • 7 weeks ATO and 2 weeks for CME.

Average of 30 patients per day, ages 2 days to 99 years

Qualifications

  • Must possess knowledge of clinical care and patient treatment as normally obtained through the completion of master’s degree in nursing.
  • Must be approved to practice as a Family NP (FNP) by the State Board of Nursing by proof of license/certification.
  • Requires current RN license in state of practice.
  • Must be certified to practice by the State Board of Nursing within a particular population as a nurse practitioner.
  • Requires personal DEA license or must have prescribing and dispensing authority granted by the state board of nursing.
  • Additional technical and professional certifications may be required based on type of nurse practitioner and scope of delineation document under medical staff services for an individual facility.
