VP, Technology - Strategic Enterprise Systems (SAP, HCM)
Job Summary
Claritev is seeking a Vice President, Technology - Strategic Enterprise Systems to lead the strategy, modernization, and operational excellence of the platforms that power our Finance, HR, and workforce operations. This executive will serve as the enterprise owner of SAP Finance, with responsibility for its strategic direction, operational excellence, and continuous modernization. They will also lead the implementation and long-term optimization of HCM, including the implementation and optimization of enterprise HCM systems.
Job Roles And Responsibilities
Develop and execute Claritev’s multi-year enterprise systems strategy and roadmap aligned with Finance and HR priorities.
Lead modernization efforts across SAP Finance (FICO/S/4HANA) and Claritev’s HCM environment, ensuring scalable and cloud-ready architectures.
Drive digital transformation initiatives that leverage automation, AI, analytics, and modern integration approaches.
Ensure enterprise systems deliver accurate, real-time financial and workforce insights to support informed decision-making.
Serve as the executive owner for SAP Finance and Claritev’s HCM platforms—overseeing strategy, governance, performance, and lifecycle management.
Partner with Finance and HR leaders to simplify processes, enhance efficiency, and improve end-user experience across enterprise systems.
Lead workflow redesign for financial and HR processes to increase automation, accuracy, and operational agility.
Translate complex business requirements into scalable, enterprise-grade technology solutions.
Lead teams responsible for delivery, enhancements, integrations, and support for SAP Finance and HCM systems.
Drive structured change management—including communication plans, training, user adoption strategies, and stakeholder readiness—for major system changes.
Prepare and deliver executive-ready presentations, roadmaps, business cases, and technology recommendations.
Manage relationships with SAP, Oracle, HCM vendors, and implementation partners.
Own and manage the enterprise systems budget, ensuring investments align with Claritev’s strategic priorities and deliver ROI.
Ensure systems and processes meet internal control and compliance requirements, including SOX, SOC 1, and other financial or operational audits across SAP Finance and Oracle HCM.
Partner with Internal Audit, Finance, and HR to implement and maintain automated controls, audit documentation, and reporting capabilities aligned with audit cycles and risk management frameworks.
Lead, mentor, and develop enterprise systems professionals across SAP Finance, HCM, integrations, and supporting technologies.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, continuous improvement, and user-centric design.
Build capability through coaching, skill development, and succession planning.
Required JOB REQUIREMENTS
15+ years of progressive technology leadership, with 10+ years overseeing ERP/HCM platforms.
Deep expertise in: SAP Finance (FICO, S/4HANA); Implementing HCM systems (Oracle HCM is great, but strong implementation experience with other HCM platforms—Workday, SuccessFactors, etc.—is equally valuable).
Proven success modernizing and transforming legacy enterprise systems, including large upgrades or cloud migrations.
Strong experience with automation, AI/ML, analytics, and enterprise integration strategies.
Ability to influence and partner with senior leadership, including executives in Finance and HR.
Experience managing budgets, vendors, and system integrators.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field; MBA/Master’s preferred.
Preferred Experience
Experience in high-growth, multi-business-unit, or regulated enterprise environments.
Experience developing business cases, financial models, and TCO analyses.
Strong storytelling ability—translating complex technology topics into clear, persuasive executive narratives.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $250,000-$290,000. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience, and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity.
