VP, Revenue Marketing
Leo Berwick is an innovative, commercially focused mergers and acquisitions advisory firm serving the world’s largest infrastructure funds, infrastructure and energy developers, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, private equity firms and their portfolio companies, publicly listed corporations, and private strategic investors across a broad range of industries, with deep expertise in infrastructure and energy. About the role
We are building a Go-To-Market (GTM) engine that matches the quality of our advisory work. This newly created role brings hands-on expertise in growth marketing and senior leadership to how marketing contributes to driving revenue. The position leads our marketing team and partners closely with our Sales team, Revenue Operations, Partners, and our Executive team, reporting to our CEO.
Responsibilities
- Marketing Function Leadership
- Lead the overall marketing organization, building the structure, talent, capabilities, and systems required to support the firm's next stage of growth.
- Manage an existing team of top talent focused on brand and content operating plan; grow the team with clear ownership, accountability, and professional development expectations.
- Define the function's long-term operating model, including effective use of technology, external vendors, agencies, and internal resources, ensuring optimal buy vs. build decisions.
- Ensure the marketing organization scales ahead of the firm's growth rather than reacting to it.
- Commercial Performance & Revenue Accountability
- Own marketing's contribution to pipeline, opportunity creation, and revenue generation, establishing clear targets, reporting, and accountability across the function.
- Build executive visibility into the health of the firm's commercial funnel, from market awareness through opportunity creation and client conversion.
- Partner with Revenue Operations to develop performance metrics, attribution models, forecasting capabilities, and commercial reporting that support data-driven decision making.
- Evaluate and optimize marketing investment decisions, reallocating resources toward initiatives that demonstrate measurable commercial impact.
- Establish a culture of experimentation, continuous improvement, and ROI discipline across all marketing activities.
- Marketing-Led Initiatives
- Stand up and run a full Account-Based Sales & Marketing engine, from named-account targeting to account-level engagement (in partnership with our Director of Revenue Operations).
- Own paid media end-to-end: LinkedIn, Google, and any other platform worth the spend. Targeting, budget, and performance are your responsibility.
- Treat event follow-up as the actual event. Set rep expectations and measure outcomes, not just attendance.
- Own and continuously improve website performance—measure and optimize what moves the needle.
- Build conversion paths that go beyond a generic form: content downloads, newsletter signup, assessments, event registration.
- Run and constantly optimize SEO, technical, keyword, and on-page strategies, informed by real persona keywords, not guesswork.
- Own AEO/GEO: Format content to be the answer and earn third-party citations so AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) surface Leo Berwick; manage robots.txt and AI crawler access.
- Deploy and manage website de-anonymization, engagement scoring, and attribution wired into the CRM to track named accounts and contacts.
- Own newsletter delivery and performance optimization—delivery, list growth, and subscriber management.
Requirements
- 7+ years in demand generation or revenue marketing, ideally within a professional services firm, with direct ownership of paid media, SEO, and marketing technology.
- Direct experience in infrastructure, energy, tax, law, M&A, transactions, or private equity advisory preferred. High-end professional services (consulting, accounting, law) acceptable for the right candidate with the appetite to learn this asset class.
- Experience building a growth marketing/demand generation function from scratch (or close to it), not just inheriting a mature one.
- Hands-on with tools: paid media platforms, marketing automation (HubSpot), SEO/AEO tooling, website, de-anonymization, and attribution platforms.
- Understanding of account-based marketing and how to align it to a named-account sales motion.
- Data-driven mindset: measure marketing against pipeline, not vanity metrics, and quantify marketing's impact with clear numbers.
- Proven ability to build and lead a small, high-output marketing team.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Self-starter with a bias toward action and a growth mindset.
Travel is expected for offsites and team work.

- Monthly fringe benefit stipend (up to $400).
- Additional benefits to support physical and mental wellness.
