About the role
Responsible for overseeing all lending operations in New Mexico, including underwriting, loan processing, and portfolio management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage a team of loan officers and underwriters
- Develop and implement lending policies and procedures
- Monitor and analyze loan performance metrics
- Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in lending or financial services
- Proven track record of successful loan portfolio management
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of federal and state lending regulations
Qualifications
- Experience in credit analysis and risk assessment
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Skills
