What You Will Do
- Marketing Strategy: Develop and evolve the Marketing strategy team to align with business needs and customer expectations.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate a high-performing team of marketing professionals, ensuring the right skill set to drive innovative and effective marketing strategies.
- Go-To-Market Strategy: Ensure teams have the ability and tools to devise go-to-market strategy and market requirements, and conduct competitive analysis.
- Cross Team Alignment: Partner with the VP of Growth Marketing and VP of Content and Creative to bring marketing programs to life through aligned marketing plans, value messaging, and clear priorities.
- Buyer Insights: Champion the importance of buyer intelligence and hold the team accountable for understanding buyer personas and buying behaviors to inform campaigns, content, and innovation.
- Messaging and Content: Direct content strategies that encapsulate effective audience-centric messaging and value propositions, guiding teams to deliver and report on content effectiveness in terms of demand generation, account retention, and influence/awareness metrics.
- Solution Excellence: Support the change transformation across the organization, establishing best-in-class solution marketing competency.
Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, management, or similar field required; MBA preferred or equivalent business experience.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a B2B marketing management role in a complex business environment, including extensive experience with go-to-market strategy development.
- Understanding of Marketing Planning, Product Marketing, Marketing Communications, traditional and new marketing tactics, channel marketing, and the infrastructure and tools necessary to support these activities.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
What Could Set You Apart
- Experience in the technology and/or data industries or working with technology and/or data-related products and services preferred.
- Work experience in a highly matrixed organization and global marketing experience a plus.
- Leadership ability to make fact-based decisions regarding the workforce and what is needed to meet the needs of the organization.
- Ability to manage a high-performing team of 10+ marketing professionals, some from a distance/virtual perspective.
- Manage and implement change effectively.
- Strong capability to define and simply communicate the value proposition of the product for markets and segments.
- Excellent written and verbal skills with sensitivity to diversity of audiences including internal and external groups of varying sizes.
- Develop and understand financial and economic scenarios.
