Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budgeting cycle and oversee forecasting activities to support short- and long-term business planning.
  • Build and refine financial models and executive dashboards that provide meaningful visibility into performance, trends, and operational results.
  • Monitor company results against budgets, forecasts, and strategic goals, then present actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable state and federal financial regulations while maintaining strong internal financial controls.
  • Develop and manage relationships with commercial banks, investment partners, and other financial institutions to support the company’s financial objectives.
  • Evaluate the use of financial capital and advise leadership on investment strategies and funding decisions.
  • Partner with department leaders to assess upcoming business opportunities and align financial planning with organizational priorities.
  • Oversee insurance programs and risk management activities to protect company assets and reduce exposure.
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing finance team while fostering accountability and career growth.
  • Direct budgeting, reporting, cash flow analysis, and month-end financial activities to maintain accurate and timely financial information.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of finance leadership experience in a Director, VP, or similar senior-level role.
  • Strong background in annual budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and financial reporting.
  • Advanced expertise in financial modeling, cash flow forecasting, and investment analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to create dashboards and translate data into clear insights for executive audiences.
  • Knowledge of state and federal financial compliance requirements and internal control practices.
  • Experience building productive relationships with banks and external financial partners.
  • Proven success leading, developing, and retaining finance professionals in a fast-paced environment.
