VP/Director of Finance

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise financial planning activities, including annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and multi-year outlook development.
• Oversee the monthly and year-end close process to ensure timely, accurate financial results and management reporting.
• Direct preparation of financial statements, board-level analysis, and regulatory reporting in accordance with banking requirements.
• Manage asset and liability planning to support balance sheet performance, liquidity oversight, and interest rate risk awareness.
• Develop strategies that improve revenue performance, strengthen margins, and support sustainable financial growth.
• Monitor cash flow trends, credit exposures, and loss patterns to provide actionable insights for executive decision-making.
• Partner with senior leadership to evaluate business performance, identify risks, and recommend financially sound operating strategies.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls, finance policies, and compliance practices across the organization.

Requirements

• Graduate degree in Accounting, Finance AND at least 10 years of progressive finance experience, with substantial leadership responsibility.
• Prior experience within a bank or other regulated financial institution is required. *This includes experience in public accounting with banking clients.
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of asset liability management and balance sheet oversight.
• Experience analyzing cash flow, credit limits, and potential loss exposure.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to executive leadership and board stakeholders.
