VP, Business Solutions Lead

For our client, we are seeking a VP, Business Solutions Lead to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This leader will shape a broad business solutions agenda that connects operations, underwriting, analytics, and technology to improve how the organization serves customers and employees. The role will translate strategic priorities into a coordinated roadmap, bringing structure to transformation efforts and guiding execution across business and IT partners. With a strong focus on process improvement, automation, and workflow modernization, this position will help turn enterprise initiatives into measurable operating outcomes. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $157,400 – $244,300 annually Responsibilities Partner with strategic operations leaders to analyze customer and employee journeys Identify required operational and technology initiatives for the enterprise Define the operations and technology roadmap with IT and underwriting leaders Incorporate strategic analytics capabilities into operations workflows Advise on the prioritization of transformation initiatives Create business requirements that bridge underwriting and IT Bring market insights to inform organizational priorities Facilitate transformation efforts as an initiative owner Lead implementation of technology and analytics workflows Implement automation strategies with IT and Lean deployment specialists Partner with IT to review value-generation proposals Develop a center of excellence to centralize people, process, technology, and data Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field Minimum 10 years of experience in insurance operations, underwriting, business planning, or IT Proficiency in Unqork, Image Right, Policy Decisions Evolution, and Policy Writer Familiarity with Lean process improvement and Agile frameworks Experience partnering with IT development teams in Agile delivery Certified Product Manager preferred Experience consulting with large commercial insurers Benefits Comprehensive medical plans including dental, vision, and prescription coverage Generous 401(k) matching 20 days of paid time off (PTO) per year plus up to 12 paid holidays Paid Volunteer Time Off (2 days) Basic Life and AD&D insurance, Short- and Long-Term Disability Paid parental leave of up to 10 weeks Student loan assistance and tuition reimbursement Backup child and elder care service Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
