About the role

The Finance Professional will help Free Brands develop a clear, credible two-year operating budget, mapping expenses and expected income across two fiscal years (June through May).

Responsibilities

  • Map expenses and expected income across two fiscal years
  • Help shape a budget that holds up to funders and serves as a fundraising target for each year
  • Support in grant applications and funder conversations
  • Guide decision-making and provide a realistic path to sustaining the programs that put real dollars into survivor-led economies

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of financial planning and budgeting
  • Experience working with nonprofits and understanding their unique needs
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with the founder and other stakeholders

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in finance or a related field
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools
  • Knowledge of nonprofit funding sources and processes
