About the role
The Finance Professional will help Free Brands develop a clear, credible two-year operating budget, mapping expenses and expected income across two fiscal years (June through May).
Responsibilities
- Map expenses and expected income across two fiscal years
- Help shape a budget that holds up to funders and serves as a fundraising target for each year
- Support in grant applications and funder conversations
- Guide decision-making and provide a realistic path to sustaining the programs that put real dollars into survivor-led economies
Requirements
- A strong understanding of financial planning and budgeting
- Experience working with nonprofits and understanding their unique needs
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with the founder and other stakeholders
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in finance or a related field
- Proficiency in financial software and tools
- Knowledge of nonprofit funding sources and processes
