Volunteer: Social Media Community Manager

About the Role

Walking in Step with God Ministries is a dynamic faith-based non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals to deepen their faith through inspiring content and a supportive community. As a Social Media Community Manager, you will play a crucial role in fostering and maintaining a positive and engaging online community centered around our mission and values. You will act as a representative of Walking in Step with God Ministries on various social media platforms, nurturing meaningful interactions, providing support, and encouraging spiritual dialogue within our digital community.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, and mentions promptly and thoughtfully
• Engage authentically with followers, partners, and relevant faith-based accounts to grow our visibility and reach
• Support online campaigns, events, and spiritual discussions by encouraging participation and dialogue
• Create a welcoming atmosphere that fosters a sense of belonging within our digital community
• Collect and relay audience feedback and insights to inform content strategy
• Maintain a courteous, compassionate tone that aligns with our ministry's voice and values
• Answer questions about the ministry and provide spiritual encouragement to community members

Qualifications

• Strong written communication skills and social media fluency
• Ability to engage warmly and professionally with diverse audiences
• A heart for ministry and passion for helping others deepen their faith
• Reliable and responsive, with good time management
• Experience with community management or social media engagement (helpful but not required)

Schedule
