About the Organization

Beyond Nations is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization empowering communities in rural Uganda by breaking the cycle of poverty through education, medical assistance, vocational training, and holistic community outreach. Our mission is to create a brighter future where individuals are equipped with both professional and practical skills to lead self-sustaining and fulfilling lives.

We serve marginalized and under-resourced communities, including orphaned children, impoverished families, and unemployed parents, by providing access to education, essential medical care, and training opportunities.

Core Programs

• Child Education and Scholarships: Integrates academic learning with vocational skills, talent development, sports, music, drama, and spiritual growth. Includes Pleroma Christian School, where students receive daily meals, school materials, uniforms, and holistic education.
• Medical Outreach: Partners with local medical missions to offer essential healthcare services for children and families.
• Vocational Skills Training: Provides training in trades and entrepreneurial skills to empower parents and youth for sustainable livelihoods.
• Community Outreach and Support: Engages in initiatives that build community solidarity and address pressing needs.

Impact

Since our registration in 2020, Beyond Nations has provided scholarships to numerous children, connected families with essential healthcare services, and trained parents and youth in vocational skills. Our holistic approach builds individual capabilities and communal spirit for long-term development.

Responsibilities

• Create and schedule social media content.
• Share impact stories and program updates.
• Help grow our online audience and supporter base.
• Assist with simple graphics and digital campaigns.
• Support fundraising and volunteer recruitment efforts through social media.

Qualifications

• Experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or Canva.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Passion for nonprofit storytelling and social impact.
