Volunteer Description

Unpaid volunteer contributing time to Intermountain Healthcare in various roles. This is an unpaid volunteer position that gives you the opportunity to use your talents, meet new people and experience the pleasure that comes from making a difference in people’s lives.

Qualifications

• A six-month commitment, with a minimum of presenting for a 3-4 hour shift each week, exceptions being for vacation or illness
• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Able to work alone and independently
• Have good communication and listening skills
• Ability to follow instructions
• Able to work with diverse populations
• Physical mobility (walking, bending, standing)
• Adequate hearing and vision
• Sensitive to patient and family situations

Requirements

• Pass a background check
• Agree to get a TB test
• Meet Immunization compliance
