Everyday our team of global volunteers comes together in an effort to make this world a better place for the Trans/GNC community. , Job Position (Volunteer) Governance Architect About Gender Freedom Society Gender Freedom Society is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to building an inclusive and supportive community for gender-diverse people. Through education, advocacy and community building, we create spaces where everyone can thrive in their authentic selves. Candidates for this position must be residents of North America. Role Summary As a (Volunteer) Governance Architect for Gender Freedom Society, you will play an important role in creating and implementing internal policies, and ensuring the organization’s strategy into execution by clarifying roles, setting controls, and guiding consistent decision-making across functions. Key Responsibilities Provide the structural framework for decision-making, oversight, and alignment with organization objectives, values, and regulatory requirements. Ensure that roles, responsibilities, and workflows are clearly defined and integrated across organization domains. Identify, monitor, and mitigate regulatory, operational, and reputational risks.Standardize decision-making and organization processes across departments and teams.Enhance visibility into resource allocation, reducing waste and duplication. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Informatics, or related field.Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS Redshift, or Google BigQuery.Advanced SQL skills and experience designing database schemas and structures.Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all organization teams.
