About the role
An established not-for-profit organisation is seeking an organised and proactive Office Administrator to become the backbone of its day-to-day operations. This is a varied role that combines office administration, executive support and governance coordination, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience within corporate services.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day administration of the office
- Coordinate meetings, calendars and travel arrangements as required
- Prepare agendas, board papers and meeting packs
- Take minutes and distribute actions following board and committee meetings
- Maintain governance records, policies and document registers
- Aid with compliance and corporate reporting requirements
- Provide administrative support to the executive leadership team
- Cook up with suppliers, office resources and facilities
- Sustain internal communications and general business operations
Requirements
- You'll be an organised administrator who enjoys bringing structure to busy environments
- You're confident juggling multiple priorities, have exceptional attention to detail and enjoy supporting both operational and governance functions
- You're eager to learn and grow
Qualifications
- Previous experience in office administration, executive assistance or business support
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Experience supporting boards, committees or governance activities
- Experience within the not-for-profit, healthcare, aged care or community sectors is desirable but not essential
