Volunteer: Bookkeeping Audit and Financial Review
About the role
This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections. We are seeking a pro bono concise bookkeeping audit to organize the nonprofit's financial records and provide a written report summarizing record organization, any issues found, and recommended next steps. The volunteer will maintain confidentiality.
Impact
Organized, accurate financial records will help AHHM steward funds responsibly, comply with requirements, and free staff time to focus on delivering health resources and programs for youth in marginalized communities. Volunteers will directly strengthen our program delivery and organizational stability.
About the organization
A Healthier, Happier Me Foundation is a not-for-profit organization, 501(c)(3), that focuses on providing health resources and programs to 4–25-year-olds in marginalized communities. Through our interactive, engaging programs, we're transforming the way people think about health by making it accessible, engaging, and enjoyable for all. We believe that every individual deserves to be their best – physically and emotionally.
What to expect
We will provide more details about the timeframe, and a primary staff contact. We will be responsive and ensure confidential handling of documents so the volunteer can complete the audit efficiently.
