Voices Against Violence Program Director
About the role
We are seeking a passionate and collaborative Director of Voices Against Violence to provide strategic leadership for one of the region’s most impactful survivor advocacy organizations. This is an opportunity to lead a dedicated team, strengthen community partnerships, and help shape the future of services for survivors throughout Franklin and Grand Isle Counties.
Responsibilities
- Guide organizational strategy and foster innovation
- Champion efforts that advance safety, equity, and justice for survivors
- Oversee operations, staff development, financial management, fundraising, community engagement, and program planning
- Ensure high-quality, survivor-centered services
Requirements
- Master’s degree in human services area, or Bachelor’s degree with appropriate experience and training
- At least 5 to 7 years’ experience in supervision of staff, fiscal management, and administration
- Experience in trauma-informed work
- Strong people and strong operations skills
- Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, bilingual abilities are a plus
- Motivated and responsible individual with the ability to relate to a wide variety of people in a non-judgmental, positive, and competent manner
- Willingness to work within the program and agency’s philosophy
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners
- Experience in a crisis prevention program, especially working in the area of domestic violence preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, observational, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in grant writing and fiscal management
- Experience in community organizing is preferred

$80,622 - $84,808 based on experience.
