Director of Trauma Program
Job Summary
The Department Director is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing all functions of the department(s) to support the mission, vision, and values of Medical City Plano, the philosophy of the Department of Nursing, and promoting, advocating, and supporting the nursing staff's primary commitment to protect the health, safety, and rights of individuals, families, or communities.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing or related field or other appropriate post-graduate degree or a plan actively in place to obtain same.
- Texas State RN licensure.
- National certification required within 6 months of hire.
- 10 years nursing experience and 5 years management experience.
