Voice instructor needed in Washington, DC

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Voice. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Washington, DC area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Teach voice lessons in students' homes, in your own home or studio/rehearsal space, or via webcam.
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
• Be organized and on time for all lessons.
• Communicate regularly with the office.

Requirements

• Great with kids and love teaching.
• Must have either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Flexible with scheduling.
• Willing to travel to students in the Washington, DC area.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to teach from home or travel to students.

Benefits

• Independent contractor status with pay ranging from $20-$30 per hour based on travel time, experience, and student retention rate.
• All advertising, marketing, and SEO work handled by Taylor Robinson Music.
• No need to handle billing or manage students.

Pay

You would be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour dependent on travel time, your experience/education, and your student retention rate.

Schedule

You have the freedom to set your own schedule.

COVID-19 Precautions

Though some students are okay to take lessons via webcam, most students are hoping to go to their instructor's studio or have their instructor come to their home. You must wear a mask, sanitize your hands, & practice social distancing when applicable.
