Voice instructor needed in Potomac, MD

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Voice. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Potomac, MD area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Teach voice lessons in students' homes, in your own home or studio/rehearsal space, or via webcam.
• Set your own schedule and curriculum/lesson plans.
• Receive payment on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour dependent on travel time, your experience/education, and your student retention rate.
• Handle all the advertising, marketing, and SEO work for you to bring the students in and handle all the billing.
• Be great with kids, love teaching, keep in good communication with our office, and be organized and on time for all lessons.

Requirements

• Must be great with kids, love teaching, keep in good communication with our office, and be organized and on time for all lessons.
• One of the following is a must: formal music training, a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to wear a mask, sanitize hands, and practice social distancing when applicable, depending on the preference of the students.

• Ability to teach voice lessons.
