Voice instructor needed in Washinton, DC
About the role
Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Voice. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Washington, DC area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!
Responsibilities
- Teach voice lessons in students' homes, your home, or your studio/rehearsal space.
- Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
- Communicate regularly with the office.
- Be organized and punctual for all lessons.
Requirements
- Great with kids and love teaching.
- Must have one of the following: a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.
Qualifications
- Flexible schedule.
- Ability to teach via webcam (though this makes up only a small percentage of our student base).
- Experience setting your own curriculum/lesson plans.
- Experience handling all the advertising, marketing, and SEO work for students.
- Experience with independent contractor pay rates ($20-$30 per hour).
