About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Voice. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Washington, DC area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

  • Teach voice lessons in students' homes, your home, or your studio/rehearsal space.
  • Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
  • Communicate regularly with the office.
  • Be organized and punctual for all lessons.

Requirements

  • Great with kids and love teaching.
  • Must have one of the following: a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

  • Flexible schedule.
  • Ability to teach via webcam (though this makes up only a small percentage of our student base).
  • Experience setting your own curriculum/lesson plans.
  • Experience handling all the advertising, marketing, and SEO work for students.
  • Experience with independent contractor pay rates ($20-$30 per hour).

Are you taking any additional COVID-19 precautions?

Though some students are okay to take lessons via webcam, most students are hoping to go to their instructor's studio or have their instructor come to their home. You must wear a mask, sanitize your hands, & practice social distancing when applicable.
