Job Summary

The vocational supervisor in the focused program of care coordination will oversee and develop the Clubhouse program, as well as Individual Placement Support (IPS) services. These programs aim to support employment and vocational rehabilitation of clients through collaboration with clients, care teams, and community resources.

About the Role

Will develop and have oversight in the daily operations of the Clubhouse to Clubhouse International standards, including supervision of clubhouse care coordinators in providing psychiatric rehabilitation services and potential coverage on placements during a member's absence. Will share responsibilities with case managers in facilitating clubhouse functions such as employment, education, activities, and social events. Will oversee and maintain the fidelity standard of the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) supported employment program and supervise staff IPS specialists, manage referrals to the program, and conduct weekly group supervision following the principles of IPS supported employment.

Responsibilities

• Develops and oversees the daily operations of the Clubhouse to Clubhouse International standards
• Supervises clubhouse care coordinators in providing psychiatric rehabilitation services
• Oversees and maintains the fidelity standard of the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) supported employment program
• Serves as a limited direct service provider, meeting and maintaining assigned client caseload by rendering care coordination services
• Provides clear and accurate documentation to support services rendered
• Ensures compliance with outlined time frames and confidentiality guidelines
• Reviews, monitors, and co-signs staff documentation to ensure timely documentation
• Monitors Care Coordination metrics
• Monitors staff timecards, schedules, and coverage as needed
• Oversees referral management, assigns caseloads, and ensures appropriate caseload sizes for staff
• Assists in planning, participating in, and facilitating fundraising, social/recreational activities, and special events
• Works with the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation and community partners/employers to coordinate services
• Collects client outcomes on a monthly basis and shares outcomes for the program, as well as individual practitioners, with the IPS supported employment team each quarter
• Conducts weekly group supervision following the principles of IPS supported employment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in counseling or related field
• Previous experience in the mental health field preferred (for IPS programs serving people with serious mental illness)
• One (1) year of supervisory experience or equivalent professional experience with proven ability to lead staff in a supportive, professional manner
• Demonstrated ability with program development and/or implementation
• Experience in case management and/or skills development services
• Comprehension of strengths-based client approaches
• Maintains a valid unrestricted drivers license
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient computer skills, to include Microsoft Suite, with the ability to type 25+ w.p.m. for the input and output of information
