Visual Arts Adjunct Instructors

Job Responsibilities

The Department of Visual Arts at Trident Technical College seeks instructors to teach on-campus in the areas of 2D Design, Color Theory, Graphic Design, and Web Design. Responsibilities include teaching day and evening classes, utilizing technology, employing various teaching methods, and maintaining accurate attendance and grading records.

Minimum And Additional Requirements

• At least a bachelor's or associate degree in multimedia, media arts, graphic design or a related field.
• Work experience in graphic design, web design, and multimedia, and proficiency in Adobe Master Suite on both PC and Macintosh platforms.
• College-level teaching experience in visual arts is preferred.
• Essential skills include teamwork, leadership, goal setting, workplace/personal communication, and excellent customer service.
• Ability to adapt to continual changes in information technology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Adobe Master Suite on both PC and Macintosh platforms.
• College-level teaching experience in visual arts.
