About the role

At Ashley Furniture, we are the largest home furnishings manufacturer, dedicated to quality, style, and affordability. We are expanding our reach by opening more stores to meet the increasing demand from our growing customer base.

Responsibilities

• Transform store guests into loyal customers by guiding them and creating inspiration, enthusiasm, and excitement about Ashley’s products.
• Create a welcoming, professional, visible presence at the front desk, engaging with guests and ensuring they are treated in a cordial, respectful manner.
• Accurately and efficiently process sales orders, adhering to cash handling protocols.
• Aid customers with credit applications and financing matters as required, while maintaining thorough documentation of sales transactions.
• Address customer concerns independently whenever possible.
• Aid in store opening and closing activities, including cash reconciliation and completion of daily checklists.
• Support inventory management and loss prevention procedures, including participation in bi-annual inventory checks.
• Maintain reliability and attend to flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Communicate information in a motivating manner that prompts action.
• Flourish in an environment that values exceptional service and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 IBS with or without accommodation.
• A high school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• One year of customer service and/or sales experience, preferred.
• Gets charged up by interacting with others, being outgoing, friendly, and easy to talk to.
• Conveys information in a way that inspires action.
• Gets excited by developing and sharing fresh ideas.
• Communicates information in a motivating manner that prompts action.
• Maintains reliable attendance.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
