Visiting Professor of Mathematics

Qualifications

• A PhD in Mathematics is preferred (master’s with 18+ graduate hours in math may be considered)
• Higher level math teaching experience
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching, student mentorship, and proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and digital instructional tools

Essential Functions

• Teach on campus and online during the spring semester of 2027
• Deliver engaging, student-centered learning experiences that integrate mathematical theory with ethical and spiritual responsibility
• Totaling 12 hours
• Courses that could include: College Algebra, Linear Algebra, Discrete Mathematics, Calculus II
• Working with students during your office hours
• Assumes other duties as assigned by supervisor

For Spring 2027 Semester Only $25,000 - $35,000
