Visiting Assistant Professor in Mathematics
Colgate University’s Department of Mathematics invites applications for at least one 1-year visiting assistant professorship beginning Fall 2025.
About the Role
The successful candidate will teach five sections of elementary courses (typically Calculus I, II, or III) each academic year, with at most two different course preparations required per semester.
Requirements
- Completion of a PhD in mathematics expected prior to, or shortly after, the date of hire.
- Evidence of excellence in teaching.

Pay
Salary range is $71,000 (for ABD candidates) to $75,000 (for candidates with a PhD).
