Visiting Assistant Professor/Lecturer, Mathematics

Department of Mathematics in The University of Tampa's College of Social Sciences, Mathematics and Education invites applications for a full-time, non-renewable one-year position as a Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Lecturer for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Graduate programs include an M.S. in Criminology and Criminal Justice, M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction, M.Ed. in Educational Leadership, and M.S. in Instructional Design and Technology.

Responsibilities

• Teach four 4-credit lower-division Mathematics courses per semester (Finite Math, College Algebra, Precalculus, Business Calculus) during the fall 2026 and spring 2027 semesters.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Master’s degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
