About the role
The Sales Executive will provide leadership in developing and executing sales strategies targeting Vision Service Organizations (VSOs), multi-location optometry and ophthalmology practices, independent vision care providers, ambulatory surgery centers, vision practice management and EHR vendors, patient engagement technology providers, revenue cycle and payment organizations, and business partners serving the vision care industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for targeted prospects and partners to drive revenue growth and long-term business success.
- Build and maintain relationships with vision care organizations, Vision Service Organizations (VSOs), optometry and ophthalmology practice groups, EHR/PMS providers, technology partners, and industry influencers.
- Collaborate with internal support teams to develop clear business plans, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies for prospects and partners.
- Evaluate existing sales strategies and market approaches for effectiveness and recommend improvements where needed.
- Identify opportunities to expand strategic partnerships and develop new channels within the vision care ecosystem.
- Evaluate proposals, RFP responses, and partnership opportunities to ensure effective positioning and messaging.
- Present compelling business cases and demonstrate the value of complex technology, patient engagement, communication, and payment solutions.
- Create value and improve conversion rates among key prospects and partners using consultative and solution-selling methodologies.
- Establish trusted advisor relationships with VSO executives, physicians, practice administrators, operational leaders, and technology partners.
- Develop financial business cases that enable customer champions to secure internal approval and move initiatives forward.
- Present patient engagement, communication, payment, and workflow solutions that improve operational efficiency, patient satisfaction, and financial performance for vision care organizations.
- Leverage ROI models, industry benchmarks, and business analytics to demonstrate measurable value and return on investment.
Requirements
- Territory and Market Strategy Development – Establish and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue objectives across targeted vision care organizations, EHR/PMS vendors, and technology partners.
- Relationship Building – Develop trusted relationships with VSO executives, physicians, practice administrators, operational leaders, technology partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Executive Presence and Communication – Effectively communicate complex solutions to executive audiences in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
- Business Value Creation – Identify underlying business challenges and opportunities within vision care organizations and align solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
- Trusted Advisor Mindset – Build long-term partnerships by demonstrating a deep understanding of vision care operations, patient engagement, revenue cycle processes, and industry trends.
- Resource Coordination – Effectively mobilize internal and external resources to support sales efforts, partner initiatives, and organizational objectives.
- Sales Negotiation – Proven ability to negotiate and influence executive-level decision-makers, leading to mutually beneficial business agreements.
- Analytical Thinking – Ability to understand and communicate complex operational, financial, and technology solutions.
- Solution Simplification – Demonstrated ability to translate sophisticated technology offerings into clear business value and practical outcomes.
- Partner Ecosystem Development – Experience identifying, developing, and growing strategic partnerships within healthcare technology, software, and service-provider ecosystems.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Experience: 5+ years of successful sales executive experience within the vision care industry, including optometry, ophthalmology, Vision Service Organizations (VSOs), vision technology, practice management software (PMS), electronic health records (EHR), patient engagement solutions, revenue cycle management, payment technologies, SaaS, or related healthcare technology industries.
