About the role
The role is part of a rapidly growing team at Overview.ai, focused on expanding the company's presence in the U.S. market. As a Vision Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and growing territories, converting initial inspections into comprehensive factory projects, and driving the adoption of AI solutions in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Hunt for new inspection points and lines, starting with existing customer accounts
- Build and expand into existing accounts, focusing on repeatable rollouts across multiple factories and lines
- Create urgency and close expansions that are not delayed until the next quarter
- Unblock real-world constraints such as technical, operational, and organizational barriers that slow down project progress
- Operate like a closer, building relationships with plant champions, regional leaders, and global decision-makers
- Negotiate and close deals with speed and precision, ensuring no "maybe next quarter" delays
- Own executive updates and communication cadences to keep deals moving forward
Requirements
- Proven track record as a top-performing seller in industrial/manufacturing technology
- Technical fluency in automation and machine vision, credible with process/automation engineers
- Strong communication skills, able to present clearly and confidently to both engineers and executives
- High level of self-discipline and self-management, operating with strong ownership of your region
- Able to travel frequently to factories to meet with clients and manage projects
Qualifications
- Experience in selling AI solutions to manufacturing environments
- Technical background in automation, machine vision, or related fields
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Passion for technology and a desire to innovate in manufacturing

Pay
OTE: $250K+ (top performers earn significantly more)
