The Opportunity

The One Medical Virtual Medical Team (VMT) provides world-class, convenient, evidence-based virtual medical care to One Medical patients in conjunction with their primary care providers. Through advanced technology and a team-based approach, we care for patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. • Employment Type: Full time (32 hours minimum including overnights and weekends)

• Overnight experience required

• Overnight shifts: 7pm - 7am Pacific Time

What You’ll Be Working On

• Treating patients via telehealth visits, including telephonic triage calls, video visit appointments, and email follow-ups
• Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
• Ongoing collaboration with both virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles
• Utilizing your specific clinical training and opportunities to give exceptional care to patients virtually

Education, Licenses, And Experiences Required For This Role

• Completion of Master’s Degree in an accredited physician assistant program (MSPAS) and is maintaining an active NCCPA certification

• Currently licensed in CA, NY, or DC with the ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed

• In the past 5 years, practiced as an PA:

  • 4 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
  • OR 4 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)

• Ability to work overnights (current shifts range from 7pm-7am)

• Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts

• Excellent clinical and communication skills

This is a Full-Time Virtual Role

• For the West Coast openings, residing in the Pacific Time Zone or Hawaii Standard time is preferred

The base hourly range for this role is $73.70 to $81.90 per hour based on a full-time schedule plus weekend and holiday differential. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience, physical location (state you live in) and patient care schedule. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
