Virtual Physician Assistant - [Overnights - NY, DC, CA licensed]

About the role

The One Medical Virtual Medical Team (VMT) is a leading provider of virtual clinical care, offering world-class, convenient, evidence-based medical care to patients in collaboration with their primary care providers. Through advanced technology and a team-based approach, we provide care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This full-time virtual role (minimum 32 hours per week, including overnights and weekends) requires overnight experience and residency in the Eastern Time Zone (preferred for East Coast openings).

Responsibilities

• Treating patients via telehealth visits, including telephonic triage calls, video appointments, and email follow-ups
• Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and other training modalities
• Ongoing collaboration with virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles
• Utilizing clinical training to deliver exceptional virtual patient care

Requirements

• Completion of a master’s degree in an accredited physician assistant program (MSPAS) and active NCCPA certification
• Current license in NY, DC, or CA with ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed
• In the past 5 years, practiced as a PA for 4 years in one of the following settings:
  • Outpatient primary care (seeing patients of all ages, 0+)
  • Urgent care or emergency medicine (seeing patients of all ages, 0+)
• Ability to work overnights (shifts range from 7pm–7am Eastern Time)
• Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts
• Excellent clinical and communication skills

Pay

The base hourly range for this role is $73.70 to $81.90 per hour (full-time schedule) plus weekend and holiday differential. Final pay may vary based on practice experience, physical location, and patient care schedule. Additional pay may be available for candidates exceeding specified qualifications.
