About the role
As a Video Field Support Specialist at Independent Software, you will provide hands-on support for Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems and end-user devices in secure customer environments. Your role is essential to ensuring reliable system performance, resolving technical issues, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify end-user devices, including personal computers, thin clients, network interface cards (NICs), telephones, monitors, printers, pagers, and radios.
- Perform maintenance and technical support on end-user devices, integrated systems, and subsystems.
- Install and configure software at customer and field locations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to end-user equipment.
- Deliver responsive technical support while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise installing, repairing, and troubleshooting VTC devices and systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience providing remote technical support to end users.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory security and policies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience; OR Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level I Certification.
- Must possess an active TS SCI with appropriate Polygraph to be considered for this role.
