Victim Service Intern Coordinator

About the role

Victim Service Intern Coordinator, reporting to the KNFTHC Director (Immediate Supervisor) and Chairperson/Chief Executive Officer (Controlling Supervisor). Regular, full‑time position located in Ponca City, Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

• Hire and manage interns: create intern criteria, hire interns, develop project plans, develop educational plans for interns, collect data analysis, manage interns’ working hours and stipend pay.
• Implement all aspects of the proposed Kaw Nation Developing Future Victim Advocates Program.
• Assist with development of program policy and procedures.
• Develop and conduct in‑service training and public presentations.
• Work closely with the KNFTHC Director in case management of clients.
• Provide advocacy and supportive services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence and stalking.
• Attend training and workshops.
• Complete monthly and quarterly reports.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate or controlling supervisor.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in social sciences or related field preferred; a combination of education and work experience is acceptable if work experience includes at least two years of related field work.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.
