Vice President of Sales - Roofing
The client is a rapidly growing roofing and exterior company based in Tampa/ Clearwater, FL, with a territory spanning Florida. They offer an OTE of $150K++ (base salary of $70K-$85K, uncapped commission, and a company vehicle allowance).
About the role
This is an opportunity for a high-energy, growth-driven Vice President of Sales to build a championship-level sales organization across Florida. The role involves overseeing and scaling the entire sales organization, leading strategy, recruiting, coaching, accountability, and expansion initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, train, and mentor high-performing roofing sales professionals
- Build and scale self-generating sales teams throughout Florida
- Develop future leaders and establish clear growth paths within the organization
- Create a culture of accountability, discipline, competition, and excellence
- Lead sales meetings, trainings, ride-alongs, coaching sessions, and performance reviews
- Inspire teams to exceed goals while maintaining a winning culture
- Drive aggressive and consistent revenue growth across all sales channels
- Develop and execute scalable sales strategies and expansion plans
- Implement KPIs, reporting systems, and accountability structures
- Improve closing ratios, sales productivity, and overall profitability
- Partner closely with marketing and operations to maximize customer experience
- Build strategic relationships with: Realtors, Property managers, HOAs, Insurance professionals, Referral partners, Community leaders
- Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and community functions
- Create long-term partnership opportunities that drive market growth
- Track pipeline activity, forecasting, and sales metrics
- Hold teams accountable to performance expectations
- Build incentive programs and competition-driven environments
- Quickly identify gaps and implement effective solutions
- Continuously improve systems, training, and operational efficiency

Preferred Background
- Proven leadership experience within roofing, exterior restoration, home services, or in-home sales environments
- Solar industry experience is considered a strong added bonus
- HVAC and home efficiency industry experience is also highly attractive
- Strong understanding of self-generated lead models, canvassing, relationship-driven sales, and customer acquisition strategies
- Storm restoration and insurance-based sales experience preferred
- Experience scaling multi-market sales organizations and building high-performance sales cultures is a plus
