For our client, a leader in the Consumer Technology space, we are seeking a Vice President of Global Compensation to join their team. This role will own compensation, benefits, and rewards programs that help attract, retain, and motivate talent at scale.

About the role

You will partner with global leaders, HR centers of excellence, and functional stakeholders to create consistent compensation practices across teams and regions. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen pay practices, improve program governance, and create more consistent outcomes across the organization within a technology-driven environment.

Location: New York, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Global Compensation professionals
  • Oversee compensation strategies and policies to ensure competitive employee compensation
  • Design and administer short and long-term incentive plans, including equity components
  • Coordinate materials for Compensation Committee meetings, ensuring detail accuracy and comprehensiveness
  • Conduct analyses on executive compensation programs and prepare financial summaries
  • Ensure compliance with pay transparency legislation and develop related documentation
  • Monitor equity program metrics, forecasting usage and financial implications

Qualifications

  • At least 15 years of professional experience with 5-7 years focused on global compensation in a matrixed organization
  • Strong background in both broad-based and executive compensation, particularly in U.S. public companies
  • Demonstrated success in managing diverse incentive plans aligned with strategic corporate goals
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive, strategic approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to analyze and present complex data effectively, with strong project management skills

Pay

$275,000 – $360,000 annually
