Vice President, Finance - Digital Infrastructure Group
About the role
Join Crusoe's Finance team, reporting to the SVP, Finance, and serve as the dedicated Finance Business Partner to Crusoe's Digital Infrastructure Group (DIG).
DIG spans infrastructure, real estate, and power — sourcing, structuring, and executing the deals that shape Crusoe's data center platform. You will sit at the center of that activity, providing the financial modeling, deal analytics, and capital discipline that turn ambitious real estate, power, and JV opportunities into bankable, board-ready decisions.
This is a high-visibility role at the intersection of corporate finance, deal structuring, and capacity planning. You'll partner directly with DIG leadership on everything from single-site economics to multi-billion dollar campus commitments, while also building the long-range financial view of Crusoe's digital infrastructure buildout.
Responsibilities
- Financial Advisory: Act as the primary financial advisor to DIG leadership, providing data-driven analysis on site selection, capacity planning, and market expansion decisions
- Deal Structuring & Diligence: Lead financial modeling and analysis to support the structuring, negotiation, and execution of real estate transactions, power agreements, and joint ventures underpinning Crusoe's data center platform
- Capacity & Capital Planning: Build and maintain the long-range financial model for Crusoe's digital infrastructure buildout, translating a multi-billion dollar development pipeline into a clear, prioritized capital plan
- Investment Analysis: Own investment-grade returns analysis for new site acquisitions, build-to-suit developments, and JV structures, working closely with corporate development
- Performance Management Reporting: Lead monthly and quarterly financial reviews, budget & forecast variance analysis, and build clear, actionable performance narratives for Exec, Board, and Investor materials
- Planning & Forecasting: Own DIG's annual budget, monthly forecast, and long-range planning processes, collaborating closely with Real Estate, Power, and Technical teams to ensure financial plans are ambitious, actionable, and aligned with corporate targets
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Liaise across Finance, Legal, Treasury, and Corporate Development to structure deals that meet Crusoe's return, risk, and financing requirements
- Process & Control Integrity: Ensure compliance with corporate policies, internal controls, and audit requirements across all DIG-related financial activity
Requirements
Industry Experience: 8+ years of progressive finance experience, with meaningful time in data center, real estate, infrastructure, or energy finance; experience in digital infrastructure investment, development, or corporate development is a strong plus
Financial Mastery: Demonstrated expertise in real estate and infrastructure financial modeling, including NPV, IRR, scenario modeling, and sensitivity analysis for capital-intensive, multi-year projects
Deal Experience: Proven track record supporting deal structuring, due diligence, and negotiation for real estate transactions, power agreements, or joint ventures
Strategic Growth: Experience building investment frameworks and business cases for geographic expansion or large-scale capital programs in high-growth environments
Executive Communication: Ability to translate complex quantitative analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for executive, Board, and investor audiences
Cross-Functional Partnership: A proven track record of acting as a strategic partner to non-finance leaders (Real Estate, Power, Development, Legal) to drive measurable business outcomes
Leadership Potential: Experience or a demonstrated ability to mentor, grow, and develop a high-performing team over time
