Responsibilities
- Lead and manage overall business development efforts
- Develop relationships with government agencies and their staff
- Collaborate with leadership to define business development strategies
- Participate in long-term planning and growth initiatives
- Explore teaming agreements, joint ventures, and acquisitions
- Conduct long-range planning for new business targets and proposals
- Maintain a comprehensive database on competitors and potential partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
- 15 years of progressive business development experience
- Proven sales track record with Federal Government agencies
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Thorough understanding of government contracting and proposal process
- Must be articulate with executive presence and creative problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to travel and ability to attain a Security Clearance
